****Update: Further research has proven that these photos were in fact of Lisa McPherson, a young woman who dehydrated and died in the hands of Florida Scientiologists. Her website is: here. A picture on that site shows the coroner’s report. That site also has all of these autopsy pictures hosted there also, but referenced as being Lisa McPherson’s autopsy photos, not Terri Schiavo.The pictures were originally linked to me from a site called http://www.commitcrime.com. The man who runs that site, Thomas Ellington, has a news blog where he clears up the origin of one of the photos, but for some reason still has them linked on the front page of http://www.commitcrime.com as “Terri Schiavo Autopsy Photos” (no lie, big red fucking letters, check the site!).
I emailed the author of the site:
Hello, my name is Jim Cortina and I just wanted to ask you why, exactly, is it that you have the autopsy photos of Lisa McPherson pictures but listed as “Terri Schiavo Autopsy Photos” when they obviously are just not so? The autopsy pictures can also be found at http://www.lisamcpherson.org, so I know they’re not Terri Schiavo, and you even state on your other site that one picture is, in fact, of Lisa McPhearson (sic). Might I also add that you have incorrectly identified those pictures on your other site as well. You said the first one is McPherson, and the second is Schiavo, but they’re in the opposite order. I was just curious as to why you would be so misleading with the title of your pictures on this site? A traffic boost, perhaps?

For those of you that don’t know, I am a moderator over at the www.livingwithstyle.com forums. The forum that I specifically moderate is called “Fucking Nasty Shit.” It deals with random forensic photos, nasty porn, all things scatological, and other really important things. A user over there, SuperNick, found and posted photos that were purportedly of Terri Schiavo’s autopsy. I will post these later on in the article after the “more” link, due to their not work safe attributes. I was excited to see these (yes, I’m bizarre), but as soon as I began looking at them, I was disappointed, and almost suspicious. However, I brushed off the feeling, and thanked the member for posting the pictures. Since I’m the moderator of the forum, I have to check the thread over and over and check all the replies and such. Another member, Kimberly82, posted later on in the thread that she thought the pictures were faked:
I don’t think that is her, and here is why: That tube is an ET tube used to intubate someone. That’s so you can go on a ventilator, or during a code they can push air into your lungs using the ambu bag. There is no way that someone intubated her. No chance that they tried CPR, much less ACLS. 2 other things that stuck out in my mind…her teeth look nasty, and those spots all over her look like age spots to me, that or bruises from blood thinners. Good post…but I don’t think that is her.
The thing is, I really do agree with her. And after hearing that she didn’t think they were real, I realized why I had been disappointed upon first seeing them. First off, the degradation of the body in these photos; I don’t see why her body would have been so badly degraded in the photos, presumably since the mass media practically had an obsessive watch on her vitals, wouldn’t her body have been noticed and declared dead by a doctor, then autopsied immediately, before such advanced decay took place? This looks like a murder victim to me.
Another reason I believe that these are just photos of another person, perhaps a murder victim whose body had decayed for a day or so before being found, is the many wounds in the different photos. Why would Terri Schiavo have had so many wounds? She was in a hospital. I refuse to believe that she had that many open wounds upon her death.
And the wounds bring us to the real reason that I was initially disappointed by these photos, and incidentally the final reason that I offer as proof (on top of Kimberly82’s) of these photos’ inauthenticity: no open head photos. Michael Schiavo wished to have Terri autopsied in order to prove the amount of vast, irreversible brain damage that Terri had suffered, right? Then why does this group of photos show no shots of her exposed brain? That’s what I wanted to see when I wanted to see “Terri Schiavo Autopsy Pics.” The final reason I think these photos are faked is the absence of open head shots.
