Samuel Adams has Released his “Brewer/Patriot” Series of Beers. I’m reviewing one of the four limited-edition beers.
This beer ours out a gorgeous shade of auburn with pretty much no head. It’s unfiltered and thus has a bit of sediment in the pour. Give this one a whiff and you’ll smell sweet sassafras and wintergreen. [...]

It's unfiltered and thus has a bit of sediment in the pour. Give this one a whiff and you'll smell sweet sassafras and wintergreen. A sip is at first sweet - evident of the caramelized sugar and molasses added to the wort - with hints of vanilla. Then the sweetness yields ... Read More

Rodenbach Grand Cru

This was quite expensive for a beer ($8.99 for a 750 mL bottle) but worth every penny, if even just for the experience. Unless you’re already familiar with the Sour Ale style of beer, this will be like no other beer you’ve ever had; you’ll be surprised that beer can taste like this. It might [...]

You'd be doing yourself a favor by picking up a six pack - or better yet a case - of this fine Belgian-style ale. Maybe I'm biased - I'm a huge fan of Belgian-style beers (as well as their actual Belgian counterparts) - but this beer is awesome. It is "very lightly filtered" according to the Flying ... I purchased a 22.7-ounce bottle of this fine beer at Joe’s Liquors on Central and Louis in New Brunswick for $3.99. I’ve been meaning to check this out sooner, and after tasting this, I’m upset that I haven’t until now. It’s simply delicious – light and crisp like a lager should be, but still has [...]

I've been meaning to check this out sooner, and after tasting this, I'm upset that I haven't until now. It's simply delicious - light and crisp like a lager should be, but still has an incredibly deep malty richness and a vigorous bitterness provided by ample hopping. I give this 4 out of 4 Bill O' Reillys Read More
