Samuel Adams has Released his “Brewer/Patriot” Series of Beers. I’m reviewing one of the four limited-edition beers.
This beer ours out a gorgeous shade of auburn with pretty much no head. It’s unfiltered and thus has a bit of sediment in the pour. Give this one a whiff and you’ll smell sweet sassafras and wintergreen. [...]

This was quite expensive for a beer ($8.99 for a 750 mL bottle) but worth every penny, if even just for the experience. Unless you’re already familiar with the Sour Ale style of beer, this will be like no other beer you’ve ever had; you’ll be surprised that beer can taste like this. It might [...]

Cherry Hill, NJ’s Flying Fish Brewing Company released their Grand Cru Winter reserve last month, and according to their website, it’s available until February 1st, 2006. You’d be doing yourself a favor by picking up a six pack – or better yet a case – of this fine Belgian-style ale.
Maybe I’m biased – I’m a [...]

I purchased a 22.7-ounce bottle of this fine beer at Joe’s Liquors on Central and Louis in New Brunswick for $3.99. I’ve been meaning to check this out sooner, and after tasting this, I’m upset that I haven’t until now. It’s simply delicious – light and crisp like a lager should be, but still has [...]
