Basic Ramen Sauté
This was the typical cheap summer lunch in my house, as it was quick, cheap, and satisfying. Any Ramen goes just fine with this preparation.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Ramen
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method:

  1. Boil the Ramen, reserve seasoning packet. Drain.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the seasoning packet to the butter and mix.
  4. Add the Ramen, toss and mix vigorously until evenly coated with the “sauce.”
  5. Serve

Serves 2 as a side, or 1 as a main dish.

Add anything to this that you have the good fortune to run across in your pantry/ refrigerator. Tuna is good, ground beef is nicely frivolous, bacon is bad for you (but you only live once), veggies are great. Dog food is bad. Unless you like that sort of thing.
