I've lived in Alaska for 30 years. Thunderfuck was an outdoor strain grown in makshift greenhouse frames that were blacked out with black plastic because the summers had 20+ hours of sunlight. Any dumbass should know you can't bud with that much light unless it's auto flower. The frost comes to early to finish a crop outside without using a blackout method. My father and grandfather used to grow it and have us kids out there pruning and watering. It was leagle back then but just a few plants. The cops got smart and started flying around and seeing these blacked out greenhouses and busting them. That's when we started going indoors. The strain was lost to the more domiant and shorter indica strains. And indica crosses. The MTF strain is not native to Alaska. Whoever said that is a moron. I had just reached the first summit opposite the lodge. There was a large ice pond melting in the sun and some large boulders to hang out on. Man, it always made me feel good when I would be in the presence of someone who was having MTF for the first time. I guess that's why this memory is so vivid. The most important thing besides the strain is the location its grown in, hence the name matanuska. This was a key factor in its beauty, so any remnant of the strain you get will not compare.
