Help a nigga out, yo.

This is my Weblog. It’s my baby. It’s my outlet. I’d love nothing better than to have a huge audience as my readership without having any middlemen or bosses or editors to compromise my goals to. That being said, if you get something out of this site, anything, then there are a number of ways in which you can support it.

And here’s the great thing:

You don’t have to actually do much to support this site a great deal.

I don’t want you to think that my sole purpose here is to sell things or to make money. It’d be nice, but it’s only out of the desire to be able to support myself by my writing that the necessity for those things arrives. So here’s the deal - I don’t want you to buy anything special. Don’t go out of your way to support me.

Here’s what I ask of you, however:

  • If you’re planning on buying something at amazon.com take an extra second to come to www.pinkeyedjim.com first and click through on one of my links. I have an Amazon search on the home page of my website. And I’ll put one here as well.
  • If you smoke, and are in the market for a pipe or grinder (or any paraphernalia for that matter) click through one of my links to www.grasscity.com they have
    reasonable prices, pipes at all levels of decoration from plain glass to blown and colored glass. Just check it out, what have you got to lose?
  • If you would like any souvenirs (they also have paraphernalia) from The Bulldog Coffeshop in Amsterdam, again, click through on one of my links. If you, like me, spent too much money on “other things” when you visited The Netherlands to afford many souvenirs, then it’s not too late to have The Bulldog ship you something.
  • Tell your friends about my site. The simple act of you generating traffic for me is a perfect example of something that’s invaluable to me, but costs you nothing.

If you have a website, there are many ways that you can help me, some even while helping yourself!

  • Link to me! What I said about generating traffic above applies here as well. If you let me know that you’re linking to me, I’ll gladly return the favor. Having working links to a frequently updated site can only help both your and my search engine rank.
  • If you are looking for companies to affiliate with and advertise on your website, then feel free to check out www.grasscity.com and www.thebulldog.nl they offer 10% and 15% commission respectively. Just be sure to list me as your referrer, and you’ll help me while helping yourself. It’s a beautiful feeling, isn’t it? Again, if you have affiliate companies that you’d recommend, feel free to let me know, and for my gratitude, I’ll be glad to sign up with you as my referrer (presuming that I choose to sign up for said affiliate program, that is).
