I just sort of witnessed a firefight between police and some people in two vans. Right on my own block.
Crazy shit.
Some shit just seriously went down.
I heard what I thought were four gunshots about fifteen minutes ago. Then a bunch of sirens. Looked out my window and there were at least three New Brunswick police vehicles coming down the block. I then heard another eight or nine shots and saw a plainclothes policeman tactiacally manuvering down my block on foot, gun drawn.

I’m finally releasing my top secret chili recipe. Get it before I change my mind!
I recently joined the Homestead.org Forums and was compelled to post my chili recipe there. I thought that I may as well post it here, too. Enjoy, you lucky bastard.
Ingredients
1lb ground beef
1-1/2 lbs flank steak, cut into 1-1/2 inch wide strips (against the grain, will be shredded later)
1/2lb onions, diced medium
